We took our family out with Capt Gabe to go swim with dolphins at captain cooks monument. Our experience was amazing. Capt. Gabe was so friendly, great with our kids, and new the best spots to snorkel and swim. Not to mention that the boat was so beautiful! We had an amazing experience and would highly recommended this to everyone!
Thanks again Capt. Gabe

“Perfect experience for the kids: Thanks to Captain Gabe and Kip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012

We checked out the marina and saw boats were averaging just 1 Mahi or Marlin per boat.
We had 12, 11, and 9 year old boys who wouldn't be in a for a long slow hot day on the ocean. we trolled taegeting Ono and Mahi on our way for a snorkel stop at kaleakua bay.
Gabe kept switching up gear tryimg to target different fish.
on the way we spotted a group of boats together and discovered a school of small yellow fin Tuna were feeding.
Gabe switched the gear and chaos ensued. we caught 25 3-7 pound tuna. Small, but perfect for the kids. Gabe and Kip were patient and great instructors for the kids and Adults. The New Horizons was a beautiful 50 footer with TV and all the comforts of home.
The kids got tired after about 3 fish each and then the adults cleaned up until the porpoise showed up to spoil the party.
We then geared for Marlin for the Troll home.
Gabe cleaned 5 nice Tuna for us to take home for a Delicious evening BBQ and leftovers.
2nd to my 12 year old and I swimming with 32 Manta Rays on a night snorkel, the trip was our second favorite outing!

“Trip of a life time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2012 via mobile

We had the opportunity to fish with Captain Gabe and had the time of our lives. Beautiful boat, excellent captain and crew, and a wonderful day of fishing! We ended up catching two short bill spearfish and 2 striped marlin. If your thinking of going fishing out of Kona, I would highly recommend fishing aboard the Kila Kila. Thanks again and you will see us soon.
