I recently came back from a Hawaiian cruise that went to the 4 main islands and did many excursions.. By far this was a stand out to me! I was a little worried going into it as I am not an avid gym member and I knew it would be about 3 and a half miles in paddling. Cassie was our guide and picked us up from the pier and we drove about 25 minutes or so to the location. I would recommend calling ahead of time to reserve singles or doubles depending on what you would like as they get really busy.
Cassie gave us a rundown of the tour and then we were off. The scenery is stunning along the cliffs and we go out to a coral reef snorkel site. They provided all snorkel gear as well as snacks so we had a mini picnic anchored together on our kayaks just floating over a coral reef. Afterwards, we were given the option of jumping off the opening to a cave some 25-30 feet down!
Cassie was fantastic and really got a feel for everyone's abilities and interests which made it a bit more personal. This was a stand out tour and I would recommend this to anyone in the Kona area. This skill level needed is not that experienced as the water was fairly smooth and even though its a little under 4 miles, it did not feel like it was that long at all.
