love the idea of getting away from England and immerse myself and my family in new cultures, however, if you are looking for a good fun family holiday where you will meet other English people with kids then Do not go to this hotel. The hotel was in a bit of a state, they have recently upgraded some of the rooms, this was the only positive thing I could take away. The rest of the hotel is in a bad state, the gardens need attention, a gardener would help!!! There is litter all over the place. The main swimming pool is far too deep for young kids, the kids swimming pool needs painting as all the paint has pealed off. The third pool is very cold... They play Euro music i.e. Crap, all day and try to organise some kind of dancing around the pool??? The hotel has a high % of German, Russian, Italian and Spanish guests, about 98%. Unfortunately they seem to be extremely rude and have no idea how to respect other people. (Excluding the Italian's, they were very nice) The food is OK, however the 2 x restaurants have the same menu and it is like feeding time at the zoo. The all inclusive option actually translates to watered down beer, wine that tastes like vinegar, choice of Red or White out of a tap, and a very limited amount of the most disgusting syrup type spirits i.e. NO branded spirits… also things like ice-cream at the pool bar are not part of the all inclusive package, none of the bars at the beach are included as they are owned by the hotel owners son and that’s not part of the hotel!!! WHAT!!!!
This holiday, for a week cost me £2500 for a family of x 4, 2 x adults and 2 x kids under x 7… I was expecting good value for money and was extremely disappointed… My recommendation would be to avoid this hotel at all costs!!
The other thing is that Supetar is the fishing village, about 600mtrs from the hotel, this is a beautiful village, and could be fantastic… however, it seems that someone has decided to move the fun fair in.. They have bumper cars and slot machines and market type gift shops selling crap, they have trampolines and fruit machines… basically, in my opinion it is ruining what could be a beautiful place, it is attracting the wrong kind of people to the area and I have no intention of ever going back again… Croatia is a beautiful country… they are ruining it by not giving any level of quality… If you deliver quality then you get recommendations and you also get people coming back time and time again!!!
