“Decent stay given the price - after all it's a 3*”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2014

Just came back from a 7day stay at Hotel Adria. Have been there for a business-related event (summer school) but of course it was combined with leisure time.
Overall I can say I have had a decent stay, given that Hotel Adria itself is stated as a 3* hotel that offers all-inclusive facilities, but next time will probably select a different venue.
The positive: The price (at least during first week of September) and the full-board that comes with it. Rooms on the 4th floor look quite new and are spacious. They come with very basic amenities (3* hotel don't forget).
Food is decent, it does look quite the same after some time, but it's quite tasteful, most of the times.

The negative: The breakfast is simply awful (though meals are much better). Had the worst check-in experience ever, there was a queue of 15 people waiting for checkin, and for some reason, there was only one person at the reception who was really really slow.
Had to pay for the WiFi in room, (abt 20 euros for 7 days) but connection quality was terrible, I couldn't do even just browsing most of the time. It worked only early morning and late evenings (probably less connections)

It is a medium facility hotel located at Biograde na Moru not so far from the sea.
In the hotel there was two swimming pools if you are borrowed to go in the sea which is 8 min by foot far from the hotel.
I stay at this hotel for four days in early August in second floor at the old part.
I am not satisfied from my leaving there for the following reasons…
1) in my room have not any lockers in the balcony doors so there is not possibility to safe it.
2) There was not any small refrigerator in my room, when in my booking includes a mini bar. When I ask the reception (two times) I took the following answer...
In this room don’t include a small refrigerator but if you would like to have, you must pay for this!!! I think that all the rooms in the old part of hotel have not a small refrigerator instead in rooms that belong in the new part of the hotel which have but it is empty! After complain to the hotel manager they brink me an empty small refrigerator without any charge.
3) The breakfast was poor and not a good quality. Every day in the mourning the bread was not fresh but it was one day before! This happened each of 4 breakfasts that I had!
4) There was a WiFi connection but you must pay for it by hour.
5) There are two parking, one in front the hotel and the other next to hotel in an empty plot but you must pay for that (30 Kn for in front and 15 Kn for the plot)

So never I stayed again in this hotel! And I don’t suggested!

Room Tip: If stay to this hotel you must be lucky to send us in rooms at new part of the hotel. Also the roo...

I am very surprised what I am reading about this hotel. I was there in august 2009 with my boyfriend and everything was perfect. We payed for half board and booked our holiday online. Food was perfect, hotel has super bar with great terrace. Room was very clean, big enough for couple, with TV, beds were very comfortable. Hotel has great location - near beach and near town. I really can`t say anything bad. I guess will have to go again and check the situation :)

+ Biograd's awesome
+ you have something to see and feel
+ nightlife's great, every evening's something new
+ people are nice, prices are on EU standard (quite OK)
+ restaurants are offering lot's of different dishes and drinks
+ you can take a trip with boat and see Biograd from sea
+ you can take Paradive or speedboat!

HOTEL
+ air contitioning OK, room OK, personel OK
+ 2 pools and 1 minor for children with safety fence GREAT
+ afternoon snacks and drinks
+ table tenis, beach voley, footbal, tenis court

ALL INCLUSIVE great MINUS
- WiFi's not for free
- parking for 2€/4€ per day
- no free SPA (or with some discount)
- food is THE SAME!! Sometimes food don't have any taste, you have to use your imagination
- afternoon snacks disapear in minutes!
- in the pool bar NOT all drinks are for free
- lack of personel

Conclusion!

If you would like to enjoy, but you don't eat much, take a half pension.
In the morning you eat, during the day you can enjoy on beach, take snacks or local dish, enjoy the day..and in the evening come back and have meal and some drinks by the pool.

If you have kids, you can enjoy swimming or getting suntan, while kids plays in the pool for children, they eather can have juices, snacks and ice-creams by the pool.

If you would enjoy comfort, great food, nice drinks, using WiFi for business....ADRIA is NOT a place to stany.

AND DONT TAKE ALL INCLUSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The room was nice, even the location. Biograd n/m is amazingly beautiful town. But me and my family don´t like Croatia at all, mainly because of the cold sea and stones. There is a sand beach, but the beach is long like 15 metres. So if you don´t mind these things, i DO recommend this town, but not the hotel. We paid for all inclusive. Every dinner was the same, some meat, some pasta, even some fishes! But i don´t recommend this hotel, if you like food. It has a wifi connection, good thing. I was excepting a free coffee or a tea when i have all inclusive, but no way. Hope i helped you.

Room Tip: Rooms on the both sides are great.

Croatia was beautiful but this hotel let it down.Even though we were on an all inclusive basis to our surprise you could drink spirits from 10am till 11pm free but had to pay for tea and coffee for any time other than an hour between 4-5pm.The kids club only seemed to do colouring and the outside activities were limited by the lack of equiptment.ie:you could play crazy golf but there were no golf balls so you had to use the 1 and only ping pong ball, which was fine unless someone was playing table tennis. The staff made all the right noises to help you but nothing ever really got sorted it was always going to be done later today or tomorrow which never happened. The balcony door had no lock or even a catch so would slide shut but was never secure. The shower tray sloped the wrong way so you ended up with a puddle at the oposite end to the plug hole after every use.The fire doors were all disconnected or wedged open, so no fire safety. Most of the staff including the manager needed customer service training and were excedingly rude.

Everything about hotel was splendid. We had good food in a nice restourant, kids enjoyed a big pool, lot's of sport's activites arround the hotel. Other guest of the hotel were fine.
Had a brilliant room facing South, nice furniture, sat tv and great bathroom. The beach is only few yards away and is wonderfull, the sea is so pure you can drink it, so the location couldn' be better. Would come here again, good price too.
