Someone on yelp said this place had a "Mos-Eisley-Cantina-meets-Bagdad-Cafe vibe" and I don't think I could say it much better myself. Well off the beaten path, east of the main part of Twentynine palms. It's a family run joint, with good bar food and cheap beer. The service is charmingly bad, but it's not the sort of place you go when you're in a rush. Also, they have an outdoor stage for bands to perform and camping in the grounds behind the restaurant. A real desert oasis.
