“Nice trip, do it if you pass by”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

I love nature and national parks. This is a relaxing place where you can enjoy silence and nature.
I would recommend the enter from west and get out from south. A well spent few hours drive.
Do bring a lot of water with you as there are no possibilities inside the park.
You can buy something inside the visitor centre.
So if you have the chance to pass by this area I recommend a trip here.

“Family Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Joshua Tree is wonderful! Take lots of cold water, and tell someone what time to expect you back. The best part of the Park is climbing the huge boulders!!

“HOT HOT HOT”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

We were there two days. Park is beautiful and eerie. Joshua Trees are awesome. WE hiked to Skull Rock, Hidden Valley and Ryan Ranch Trail to an old ranchero near the Lost Gold Mine.

“Brilliant, albeit it searingly HOT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

Not at all crowded. Rangers v helpful. A wonderful desert park. All, as all National Parks seem to be, very well organised and full of interesting information.

“Beautiful Intro to the American Desert”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

We took a relatively short driving tour through the park and had a great time. We picked a few places to get out and get a better look at the terrain and rock formations, and read the typically informative National Park plaques. Can easily see how folks could spend days camping and hiking to see the enormous areas away from the paved roads. The kids were most impressed by the view from Keys View; being able to see the San Adreas Fault was very cool. They also noticed that other visitors had made improvised little "rock piles" in one area, and they enjoyed adding their own to the "guest book"! Skull Rock is also a must see for those on the main road; very weird!
