Please be aware that this review is mainly about the next door sister hotel, Quality inn. My wife and i booked to stay at the 29 palms inn and suits well in advance of our stay. on arrival we were put in the sister hotel, with the main selling point being the in room Jacuzzi. The room we were given was average to say the least, my main issue is that the walls were paper thin. You could hear every voice next door, and i mean every thing!!Our next door neighbors were having some sort of party with many and varied voices. We complained to the night receptionist at 3 am that we had not and could not sleep, he was all confused thinking we we checking out, asking if we had a good nights sleep. He did go and have a chat, however the noise continued until after 5 am. The hotel is poor with a lack of compassion for its guests. I am unable to comment on the 29 palms due to being involuntarily shipped out to the quality inn-be aware. Granted, the hotel can not select its guests, and much of my moans are other guest related. The paper thin walls are always going to be an issue. With out doubt this was the worst night i have ever spent in a hotel....I have stayed in a few.

We staye here two nights while visiting Joshua Tree on spring break. We enjoyed it so much we would have stayed another night or two if I had planned it that way. We usually stay at Hampton Inns because of the consistency of their quality. This hotel was of comparable quality to Hampton Inns - though the breakfast may not have been quite up to snuff. It was decent, however - and better than many. I really enjoyed my stay there. The staff was helpful. They even served a free dinner while we were there one night (Wednesday 27th of March) - grilling burgers, chicken, tacos, etc.. As it turns out, we should have taken advantage of that since there seems to be a dirth of places to eat in 29 Palms. Back to the Hotel 29 Palms Inn and Suites: clean, well maintained, convenient, pool and hot tub were great after a day of hiking in Joshu Tree - overall, a definite high recommendation. Thanks to the great staff who work there. Price was about what could be expected for a good hotel like this.

Room Tip: See Joshua Tree, spend more than one day there. You need at least 2 and probably at least 3 if you a...

We stayed here on our road trip through the West and were extremely happy with our choice. Right on the main road in 29 Palms this hotel is very close to the Joshua Tree Park North Entrance. Staff is extra ordinary friendly and helpful, rooms clean, modern and well sized. Breakfast was plentyfull, lots more choices than most hotel/motel places you stay on these road trips, omelettes, waffles, muffins, fruit, joghurt, juices etc. Even so that the hotel is on the main road, the rooms mostly face the sides of the buidling, not facing the road, and therefore it was quiet and we slepped very well, with window open, night temps were nicely into the upper 50's. Hotel has pool, whirlpool and we loved the outdoor seating area as well, where you have big grill stations to use to cookmeals. Free WiFi and parking a plus as well. We will definitely stay here again. Fantastic place to stay when visiting the Joshua Tree Park.

Had 2 nights here. Stayed in various other hotels/motels over the years, this is the best. Real nice room, everything you could ask for available. Staff really helpful. Nice breakfast. Will always stay here in the future.

I stayed at this hotel for one night while in the process of moving/PCSing to MCAGCC and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Front Desk personnel were very polite, courteous and friendly and had delicious cookies. My room had a very comfortable king size bed, with a desk and small refridgerator. It was walking distance (literally feet away) from a shopping strip w/ a Subway, Burger King, other places to eat, Dollar Tree and Stater Brothers (a supermarket). The hotel also provided a really good continental breakfast where you can make your waffles which were delicious. I thought the price was great and would stay here again if necessary, especially for the cookies and waffles. :-)

I had expected a better place from the other reviews. The receptionist was nice, it was clean, and the breakfast was better than expected. However, I was not able to sleep. The air conditioning fan was so so loud that it woke me up every time it came on during the night. The bed and pillows were not comfortable either - way too hard.
