This gem is hidden away on a side road exiting JT National park, We found it purely due to the tenacity of the driver and what a find! The space overlooks the pool, professional art lines the inner walls, some table are placed outside under misters and it sports a welcoming bar. We were there on a weekend and there was live music that added to the ambiance. This is no cafe, however! There is a sophisticated (though not large a good variety) menu , organic green house/ garden (that guests are welcome to tour), wine list, desserts etc. We had the chai chicken dinner, which came with a nice size salad and vegetable and choice of rice or potatoes. The portions were generous and it was approximate $20 per entree. Good value for superior food. Our waitress did an excellent pitch and checked in on us at periodic intervals. She was professional, also warm and friendly. This spot deserves a second visit. The clue to finding it is the big horned sheep statue veer right on the side road to Inn Rd.
The dining room belongs to and is located iinside an Inn, the 29 Palms Inn, the grounds were colorful, clean and welcoming. We tried to make a reservation for dinner but were unable to get through, though it all worked out in the end. Thank You 29 Palms Inn!
