“Favourite restaurant in st Anton”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

Been coming here for years absolutely brilliant. Food is always fantastic and the service is really friendly. Don't take bookings so you may have to wait for a table and you will end up sharing as they have large tables for multiple groups of people to share, makes the atmosphere much nicer, very Austrian. Haven't found food better than here anywhere else in the village

“Still good. Reliable good and service ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014

Been coming here on our ski holidays for around 7 years now. I'm not sure the menu has changed at all during that time. But what has defiantly not changed is the atmosphere. Warm and friendly. During peak season it gets VERY busy and they do not take bookings except on NYE. Be prepared to wait at the bar for a while for a table to become free. Also be prepared to share a table with another group or two diners. If this doesn't appeal to you then go elsewhere. We like it. We have shared with Germans Austrians Dutch Italian Brits Irish and recently some of the ever more prevalent Russians.
At busy times do not be surprised if once you have finished your meal you get a big hint to move to the bar to continue drinking. They are quick to create table space for the next group of diners.
Food is traditional fare. Well cooked and sensibly priced.

“So friendly”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

We had a couple of drinks here most evenings as we could sit outside in the garden area. They didn't mind that we weren't having food. We did have a lunch there on our last day and the pasta dishes were filling and extremely tasty.

“Classic Austrian Pub”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2013

My girlfriend and I spent a few afternoons here during our stay in St Anton.

It's a great little pub that serves great food and drinks.

We grabbed the Heisepunch a few times and their palatshinken mit marmelade were awesome!
