This is one of the most amazing hotels in Austria the service and staff are out standing the food is to die for and the evening entertainment can only be described as exciting after a hard days walk there is nothing better to relax in the pool area the location is at the foot of a mountain range that is not only breath taking to look at but offers some of the most magnificent walks local transport offers easy access to surrounding villages

Room Tip: best one is 208 or the pension Claudia with views of the mountain

We recently spent a week in this excellent hotel. The room (203) was a good size, plenty of wardrobe space and lovely bathroom. The room was well cleaned daily and little gifts left on the bed.. At dinner the food was excellent, the self service salad bar plentiful and varied and the main courses, served by pleasant smiling staff, excellent and varied. Breakfast was equally good, with plenty of hot and cold food to suit all tastes. Ingrid the owner was always around, greeting guests and checking everything was ok. Evening entertainment was provided on some nights which was very good. We asked for a kettle in the room and this was provided straight away. The hotel is well situated for visitng all the beautiful sights in the area. Even though the weather was rainy for the first two days of the week, the sun came out for the rest of our trip. Lots of damage had been done to the roads by all the rain, but great efforts were made to repair them as soon as possible. The whole area is so clean and tidy - it puts our country to shame. We would recommend this hotel highly.

Copy of our e-mail sent tonight:
Hello Ingrid & Team
Arrived safely home late Saturday after an excellent journey home.
Both Jacky & I wish to extend our thanks to you all for looking after us so well during our recent stay (Room 208).
What was so good.
The food, the staff, the room, the little gifts on our beds, the kettle left in our room, the hotel's comfort, the swimming pool facilities and the resort & surrounding area that offered so much variety.

Depsite the rain on Saturday & Sunday, we were fortunate to see an improvement as the week progressed. The snow on the tops was dramatic as was the damage caused by the rain water. We both hope that those affected will be able to return to normal life as soon as possible, the effort to tidy up & repair the damage was impressive.

We stayed overnight here on our way from Italy to Germany and loved it! We had booked the Pension Claudia but were upgraded to the hotel. We stayed over a Thursday night and had the gala dinner which was very good. Breakfast was excellent, good variety and the freshly cooked omelette was delicious. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Our rooms was comfortable and clean with the lovely swan towels !! We were able to park easily beside the hotel. There is a lovely family feel to this hotel. Thank you Ingrid for chatting to me and remembering my Dad! Hope to be back some day.

Excellent hotel with fantastic staff who can't do enough for you, we upgraded to a superior room which was superb and well worth the extra money. The food was always hot and fresh and served with a smile and although portions seemed small, you can fill up on the help yourself salad bar and we never went hungry, even after working up a big appetite on the slopes. The room service was excellent and the house-keeping staff with thoughtful and creative. The bar staff were outstanding learning are drinks after the 2nd day and more friendly than our local pub. We didn't take our daughter but it the hotel was suitable for all ages, with entertainment for everyone. We would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a holiday where you want to be spoilt at a reasonable cost ...... just a word of warning if you depart in the night as we did, be aware once you exit as we did with ski's and boards to go back for your luggage - You can't get back in!!! nearly spoilt the very lovely holiday -

Room Tip: Upgrade well worth the cost we were above the Spa, lovely and quiet - downside no sun on the balcony

I agree- I can't think Emmajoel was staying in the same hotel!
We enjoyed our stay here so much in the summer we came back for a skiing holiday. We had a fantastic holiday- good snow, empty pistes, but best of all, the hotel was brilliant. The pool was lovely & warm, unlike a hotel pool my husband had just experienced in Niederau. The indoor and outdoor hot tubs meant no aching thighs. The breakfasts were so good, the evening meals plentiful & delicious with special evenings- Gala dinner, Farmers Buffet etc.

The staff were really friendly, especially Tony, Zoran and Ivan.

The night time tobaganning organised by the hotel was hilarious.

All in all, a fab holiday

I can't believe the last review. My daughter and I have just returned from our 5 night stay yesterday. The food was healthy, excellently cooked and presented and plentiful. Amazing breakfasts and dinners. Lots of attention to detail including the baskets to take your things to the pool, the 'evening news' paper with your dinner telling you of lots of fun free activities, a different origami napkin and origami duvet every day. This hotel is fun and full of the owner's warmth who makes a point of meeting guests and encouraging them to join the free activities.

The pool and sauna area were lovely with a Klimt mural, fantastic outdoor jacuzzi and very relaxing and sociable sauna area. The 6 O'clock Aufguss was a real experience. An aromatherapy oil infused sauna with a sauna master blasting you with increasingly hot air followed by scrub down with some snow!

The value for money was incredible. Ski hire was thrown in and my daughter's lift pass was free. The ski boot room was always open and easily accessible for us with lots of room and chairs to help you get your boots on.

We had a superb time, met lots of friendly german, dutch and english holidaymakers and I am already wondering about coming back in the Summer. My daughter was even given a gift on departure. I am very confused and surprised by the last review and cannot believe we were there at the same time.
