“Great alternative to traditional Austrian fare”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2013

This was definitely one of the more memorable evenings my partner and I had in Zell am See. The staff were friendly and the contemporary food an excellent reprieve from the traditional foods like schnitzel. Along with vegetarian options the menu also had a section called 'junk' - these appeared to be very good burgers judging by the couple that sat opposite us. Highly recommended.

“Lovely fine dining experience at reasonable cost”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013 via mobile

I chose the place with my wife based on the earlier reviews and were positively surprised. We had had enough schnitzel and pasta and wanted to have something better.

The setting was casual, but had the little finishing touch all over.

Menu was concise, but well planned. Their steak menu was very thorough. I chose to have entrecote with side salad (25€) and my wife took their signature burger (11€). I asked for medium rare and it was steaked to perfection.

The wine list was well grounded with Austrian wines both white and red (another reason to visit) starting from 30€. Plenty of foreign wines (also expensive ones) were available and also the wine list signalled the this place is ran by someone who appreciates good food and wine.

Strong recommendation for this place. This is completely different from most of the restaurants in town.

“Trendy and fresh”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013 via mobile

Went for a quick pre - travel dinner with my friend. We ate beef burgers, and it was the best burger I've eaten in a while. Restaurant as itself doesn't offer anything special, but it really is nice to eat some tasty food. It's in the centre of the village, but anyway in a quiet place. Definetly worth to try !

“Modern Food, Modern Setting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013 via mobile

This is the place to come When you are fed up with eating würst and schnitzel. It's a completely contemporary restaurant with a modern international menu. The cooking standard is high and service friendly and efficient. Price wise it is slightly more up market than most Zell an See restaurants but has a more classy feel than many. Its delightful for lunch with big airy windows and a small terrace. One of our favourites.

“Jazz fan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

We went to see the jazz one night. It was very popular and busy. The atmosphere was very good and people were dancing. They had moved the tables and chairs outside to make room. It was very smoky though.
