The attracting toll road passing along the alpine mountains in Austria is a worth visiting place. This attraction is about 38 km from Maria Alm countryside where we stayed.
Our trip was enjoyable and we didn't expect that we will be interested to that level.
The mountainous road offers you the opportunity to see the pretty nice nature as you get higher and higher. You shall capture some unforgettable photos during your visit.
Don't lose the opportunity to drink from the water coming from the top of Alps.
A mixed feeling of joy and fear captured us sometimes especially my wife when we get higher and higher.
Although we visited the site in Summer (during August) the temperature at the top was about +6C.
You may get there by bike, motorized bike or a car. However, I would recommend using a car because it is safer.
Because of the steep slop which may cause skidding, I don't recommend to visit there in winter since it might be hazardous.
