“Not a hotel- a home away from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2011 via mobile

When you stay at casita margarita, you feel more like staying with friends then like a hotel. We stayed for a week and have never been more comfortable anywhere. Jose was amazing! He did everything possible to make our stay perfect from setting up fishing and snorkeling trips, recommending places to see and eat, to fixing a flat tire for us...
The only thing that would have made it better is staying for longer and having Jose cook for us every night. If you catch fish, Jose will whip up a little something in the kitchen. Something worthy of the best 5 star restaurants back home!

If you travel to Panama, consider to go to Pedasi. It is a beautiful little town on the Azuero peninsula, next to the Pacific coast.
Casita Margarita is a good B&B which gives you all the comfort you need: a nice room and bathroom, a colonial style lounge with balcony and a terrace to enjoy a drink. On Friday and Saturday evening they also serve meals of very good quality.
The housekeeping is great: when I asked them about the possibility to hire a boat to see humpback whales, it was only a matter of minutes to have everything arranged for. José looked after everything: the boat, a boatsman who knew where to find whales, cold drinks, a nice lunch and a drive to and from the beach.
The trip was one of the most exciting experiences of our Panama adventure. Imagine the feeling, sitting in a small boat with big whales jumping out of the water at 50 meters or less distance! After this encounter we had a great time at Isla Iguana. Don't forget to bring a diving mask and snorkle. The underwater life is abundant.
This B&B is really top class and Pedasi is a place to recommend to all nature lovers.

Casita Margarita is located about a 4 hour drive west of Panamá City on the Azuero Peninsular, this area has become very popular for it beaches & fishing. This neat B&B is owned & operated by a family from Pennsylvania & is an excellent facility, #1 in the area in my opinion. Breakfast was great, the staff are very friendly & helpful, anxious to please.

Our quarters were comfortable and clean, the breakfast choices were delicious, the weekend cooking extremely good, and our host was attentive and helpful. All in all, a cosy and friendly place to stay.
We will visit again...

My daughter and I spent 3 nights here and loved every minute of it. Everything in Pedasi is within walking distance of this charming B&B. Jose Enriques could not have been more helpful. He arranged restaurants and activities for us and packed us a wonderful lunch for our day trip to Isla Iguanas which is a must-see for anyone visiting the region. It is a beautiful white sand beach with crystal clear water, hermit crabs on the sand, frigate birds circling all year round, great snorkeling, and of course lots of iguanas. What we loved most about Casita Margarita was that they went out of their way to be helpful. Jose treated a cut on my daughter's foot and let me borrow a cell phone when mine wasn't working properly. We so enjoyed the drinks he made for happy hour on the front porch, and the little appetizers he brought out that were different every night. We truly feel that we made a friend in Pedasi.

We stayed two nights at this B&B (small and cozy and convenient) - the owners were on the spot and always willing to help with whatever was needed - directions, advice on dining, advice on beaches, etc.
No complaints about anything.
Definitely worth the price
Banana Pancakes for breakfast - Wonderful !

Wonderful little hotel with the best hotel staff you can imagine. Jack and Sue (owners) make you feel welcomed in this cozy little hotel located in the quaint, costal little town of Pedasi. The hotel has all the creature comforts that a weary traveler needs to re-energize and enjoy their stay in a place from from home. The hotel is clean, the food is good. The staff is most helpful in giving you all the information and anything you may need to maximize your stay and enjoy all that there is to see and do while in Pedasi. Which reminds me, don't miss out on a trip to Isla Iguana. The Hotel even packs a lunch for your stay on the beautiful little island which from the Hotel's nearest beach, is about 20minutes away on boat. I can't put all the wonderful things about this hotel in a review so let me just say, you will enjoy your stay in Pedasi and be free worries if you are fortunate enough to stay at Casita Margarita and experience the warm and pleasant hospitality that Jack and Sue are more than happy to provide.
