I loved the family feel of this place, it was so welcoming, the gardens beautiful and the rooms were super-comfortable, although i have to say me and my room mate opted for the room with closed windows as opposed to the upper rooms that were open to the elements and creatures that might choose to visit at night! The bathroom was fairly basic and could probably be improved a little, but everything was clean and well looked after. The meals were great, breakfast was delicious - the only draw back is having to climb quite a lot of stairs at the entrance with luggage.. but hey.. it's a small price to pay for such a beautiful space on the lake.
