Nice neighborhood and would have been very convenient location had the tram been operating (closed for construction). Everyone was helpful and the housekeeping staff FedEx-ed items I had left behind! Everything was clean and the lobby is pleasant. Breakfast has many choices.

Great location to be in for a couple of days during our week long visit to NOLA. The hotel is what you would expect. It is well kept, the staff are pleasant and the breakfast in the morning enough to start your day out right.

During our stay there, we walked up and down Magazine Street and jumped on the St. Charles line that ran right past the hotel to get the French Quarter and City Park. The line was being worked on so we had to jump from trolley to bus when riding the line but that was not a big deal.

The pool was a little on the small side but if you are coming to NOLA to swim in a hotel pool, you may want to reconsider your travel plans.

Loved that they always had two large pitchers of ice cold water available at all times in the lobby and pool area.

Room Tip: Our room faced out to St. Charles. It was neat hearing the trolley pass by.

It is a wonderful motorcycle friendly hotel just minutes from the French quarter along the trolley route. We rode in from Memphis via Mobile and the hotel was a cool spot in a hot city. Just make sure the trolley line isn't under construction.

Great location in the Garden District, away from the noise of downtown NOLA. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was meh. Free parking was close and easy to use; this was a big plus. Everything was clean, no bugs...but it was a little dated...overall a good home base from which to explore the city, as the St Charles streetcar runs right outside the front door.

This hotel is acceptable, but, not great. The room's decor was a bit tired, and lacking overall, when compared to many newer and vastly nicer Hampton Inns. The Garden District locale is nice, and is a good option, if you're looking to avoid the French Quarter. The fitness room is, unfortunately off-site, which was disappointing and inconvenient. I'd probably avoid staying at this one again.

My daughter and I stayed her for three nights during my granddaughter's orientation at Loyola in June. The first evening we arrived we asked for a dinner recommendation within walking distance and when we got just a couple of blocks away the skies opened up and we returned to the hotel. We were DRENCHED and my granddaughter did not have a change of shoes. The hotel took our wet clothes AND SHOES, put them into their commercial dryer and within 20 minutes we had dry warm clothes and shoes!

The manager fabulous as well: I had made three reservations as our plans changed and with the changed reservations the prices went up of course! I spoke with the manager who could see the reservation history and gave me the original price without any argument.

And most important, THE HOTEL AND ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN, 24 hour coffee/hot chocolate/tea, apples and oranges as well as a very adequate breakfast, the bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet.

The Garden District is a lovely area, convenient to Loyola and Tulane and on the streetcar line which whenever they finish it will be a quick ride downtown. It is not within walking distance to the French Quarter but there are restaurants and services within walking distance.

I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
