This hotel is in a great location. I stayed 4 nights at this hotel with a friend & it was our first time visiting New Orleans. It was easily within walking distance of the French quarter, Harrah's, Jackson square & other great hot spots in the city.
The front desk was always friendly & willing to assist us with any questions & suggested a few restaurants for us as well.
There were a few downsides, but nothing major. We stayed in a room across the atrium & the hallway had a strange smell. Once we were in the room it wasn't a problem, but it was unappealing. The pool is basically a fountain, but we didn't come to swim so it didn't bother us. The biggest issue we had was parking.
We had to loop around 3 times bc we couldn't find a close enough spot to the hotel & finally just decided to illegally park. When we came inside we found out the only option is valet which charges a little over $30 a night, which was annoying to not have an option to self park. Overall I would stay here again.
