“Modern and neat boutique”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms with king-size bed are maybe 200sf (and that's being generous), but that's all we really needed. The size of the room wasn't a downfall by any means, especially with the modern boutique feel of the whole place. Everything was clean and well maintained. The hotel is only 2 blocks from the French quarter as well, so you get the convenience of high volume destinations being within walking distance without the outrageous nightly rates. The kitchen and bar is also pretty good, but alcohol is costly. 1 mimosa was $9, needless to say I made the judgment that her tip was included.
Only downfall were the elevators. There's only 2 shafts for all 10 or so floors, and 1 wasn't working and the other stopped on every floor without being called.
All in all, when I visit NOLA again I shall come back to the Q&C

For a NOLA hotel outside of the French Quarter, it is a fair price for decent value. The decor is fun and trendy, and the bar has some nice options. The elevators leave much to be desired. They are slow and stop on floors randomly. The fridge is nice addition. Overall, we were satisfied with it.

Not much to look at from the outside. The hotel is in two different buildings. We stayed in the building without the lobby. The building with the bar and small restaurant is where the front desk is. Room was good size with a large flat screen TV that connects via Bluetooth to other devises to view movies, pretty cool. The usual coffee maker, frig, safe, & desk in the room. The room was large enough for a chair but it didn’t have one. It had a very large window overlooking the street although the view wasn’t very pretty.
We ate in twice once for breakfast and once for dinner. The food was ok breakfast was the better of the two. The only reason we ate in was the weather. Within walking distance to the crazy parts of town and many top rated restaurants. Also close to the Trolley pick up points.
This place will surprise you

Room Tip: 314 was the largest on that floor. according to the map

Room Tip: Really like the hotel and the area. First trip to Nola for the Jazz festival . Small room for 3 wome...

We came to N.O for my birthday and chose the Q & C because it was near the French Quarter. The room was a decent size and bed comfortable. There was a Kuereg coffee maker in the room with New Orleans style coffee. Also a big screen tv. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a cozy area with a bar and lounge and had NBA & NHL playoffs game on for all us sports fans.
The one thing I didn't like was the bathroom setup. The toilet was very close to the wall and with the roll holder hanging over it made it difficult to fit on.The bathroom door was a sliding door that didn't close all the way and right next to the bed. Mirror was too high from the floor too. I'm sure all the bathrooms differ by room size so they're not all that way. I did like the walk in shower. I would stay there again just not that room. Elevators very slow too.
We had no problems walking to bourbon st and restaurants in the area. The aquarium and Insectarium (which I recommend if you love butterflies) are a close walk too.

Very nice boutique hotel with a bar/restaurant. The room had a king bed and an exposed brick wall--and gorgeous wallpaper with a locomotive in the pattern. The bathroom was small, but there were enough shelves to hold pretty much everything. There was no bathtub in my room, but the shower had strong water pressure and was so relaxing after a lot of walking. Rooms have a fridge and a safe.

Room Tip: I believe there are rooms across the little street where the gym is located. The room I stayed in wa...

Stayed here for four nights and it was awesome. The hotel went above and beyond to accommodate everything we asked for, such as:

"We're arriving at 7am, is there a room available at that time?" Yup, got to check in right away and take a quick nap before heading out to explore.

"We had some really loud neighbors and there was really loud construction this morning, can we change rooms?" No problem, we'll upgrade you to a Superior King for the inconvenience!

If you're staying for more than a few days, I'd really recommend upgrading to a Superior King over a regular King. It doesn't seem that much bigger, but it really makes a big difference. The King is fine and the beds are comfy, but you get two bathroom sinks in the Superior, a couch at the end of the bed, and a few more feet of space all around.

Also, the walls seemed thick enough, but when we stayed in the King room we had a group of people next door that were loud enough to disturb our stay at 3am. If you've got a bunch of drunk tourists next door, it might be a long night. Thankfully, guest services quieted them down pretty quickly.

Another hidden gem of this hotel is the FOOD. Breakfast doesn't have many options, but do check out the happy hour. They've got a bunch of upscale 'Nawlins-inspired dishes at really great prices.

The details and decor in this hotel is amazing. It's not your generic, bright and clinical hotel, and that's something we really appreciated.
