This was my second trip to NOLA and my second hotel. The previous place I stayed at I paid at least $50 more a night. That place was old and smelly and I am not a picky person.
The Inn on St. Peter was very nice. It has been recently renovated with a modern contemporary feel. Pretty hardwood floors and freshly updated fixtures. The bed was VERY comfortable. I seriously considered asking what type of beds they use, they were that comfortable. IMHO.
If you are looking for fancy stuff and posh, find another place. If you are looking for an affordable, clean, comfortable place, then you should book here.
If I had to pick some bad items, it would be the crazy old staircase I had to climb. BUT, it's an old building, so what do you expect? Also, on our last morning the city decided it would be a GREAT idea to do some sidewalk construction right outside of our room at 5:45am! I'm in NOLA, people! I had just gone to bed a few hours ago! Come on! This totally not the hotels fault. Just pointing out some things you should expect while in NOLA.
I'm going back in March and I plan on booking with this place again.
