“Maison gets 10 stars”

Best hotel in French quarter. Staff friendly and extra helpful. They went the extra mile and then some. Room clean private balcony overlooking pool was beautiful. Slept like a baby every night in comfortable king size bed. Bistreaux restaurant decent with good prices. 2 blocks from the madness of bourbon st. Will stay here every time in NO without question

Room Tip: try to get a private balcony facing the courtyard. I thought I was in France. Very nice

We (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed in July 2014.
New Orleans is an amazing city. There's simply no reason to review it. It's really something to see, and TONS to see and do so lets just concentrate on the hotel.
It's a very nice place. Parking is Valet and underground, fully controlled which we really liked. Check in was easy. The hotel is New Orleans style and its a bit older but in very good condition and clean. The room itself was a bit old but again, clean. We upgraded (negotiated) to a Courtyard View with a balcony door.
The pool area is very nice, not huge but large enough. We were lucky to have gotten loungers the times we used the pool. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we were out in the city the whole time.
The service is good and friendly. They have free coffee until 8:30 or 9am which was nice. The hotel is a few blocks from Bourbon St, which is good to be away from the noise and action just a bit. Its a short walk. The whole area is amazing, so much to see, do, shop in.
We loved this hotel.

Room Tip: I think we had room 360, Courtyard view. The balcony in that ONE room holds water if it rains. We...

The pool/courtyard area is wonderful and great place to relax. We chose a deluxe king room with a view facing the courtyard. To me, there was nothing very deluxe about it. You couldn't open the window which got fogged up often, the bathroom gave you no privacy (French doors that barely closed all the way) the couch looked old and warn- the room in general just didn't feel "deluxe"to me. Also, there was no fridge and you will soon find that eating out all day will be very expensive - no chain/cheap eats really. Over all had a great trip.

My best man booked us at the Maison Dupuy for my bachelor party. It's a beautiful hotel taking up basically a whole block in the French Quarter complete with a courtyard fountain and pool. Being just two blocks from Bourbon St was refreshing because we could go out and party then easily walk home to a more relaxed and quiet environment to sleep (the little but we did). There were six of us and we upgraded from two double rooms to the suite with two double beds and a pull out couch. It was quite roomy and comfortable and made it easier to all be in the same room. The staff are incredibly friendly and nice and you can tell that people often come back here for return visits as they even knew a lot of guests' names. They were great about holding our bags before we were able to check in and after we had checked out before leaving for the airport. If you're looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay with friendly faces this fits the bill.

This hotel has a great location. The staff is very friendly. The beds are extremely comfortable. I did not wake up with a sore neck or back which, is very unlikely for me. The location is quiet considering it is close to everything and easy to get around.

We had an excellent stay at the Maison Dupuy and would recommend it to anyone we know going to New Orleans. Convenient to everything we needed and the staff were friendly and always asking if they could assist us. Rooms were clean and comfortable after a long day of touring the city!

The Travel Zoo deal was phenomenal value. I expected taxes and fees to be paid on top of my $99 a day but they weren't. With the drink tix, breakfast, free parking and free wifi, this was exceptional. The hotel itself was great. The only exception was that there was a floor lamp with a broken off switch and a ratty shade in my room. Also, there is no overall "guide" for the television to see on one screen what is on...that would be a big improvement over flipping channels. (Maybe it was there but I couldn't figure it out.) Staff were great...
