“Awesome - Didn't Miss a Thing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2010

We checked into Le Pavillon after a few days on the road -- a treat to ourselves, and the hotel kept its promise. The room was old-fashioned and fancy, which we loved, the interior of the hotel lovely, clean and cool (wonderful during the summer humidity) and the staff thorough, helpful and kind. But the real superstar was Grace, who works in the bar and restaurant and enthralled our 7-year-old daughter with ghost stories and maraschino cherries. When she discovered our daughter had Celiac disease, she called the chef in the early evening, asking him to pick up some gluten-free bread for her breakfast in the morning. He did, our daughter had toast (!) and we will never, ever forget the extraordinary kindness of Grace, the chef and the staff. We will absolutely be returning to Le Pavillon and New Orleans, and recommend the hotel to all.

Stumbled upon this hotel though Expedia and booked immediately. The hotel totally lived up to expectations. Stayed for 3 nights with small children. The kids still talk about the rooftop pool, and the pb&J and hot coco that is served in the gorgeous lobby each evening. Our room was lovely, thou a bit small, next time we will upgrade to larger room. Great location for sightseeing in New Orleans....walking distance to wonderful aquarium and French quarters. We had a wonderful time. Great hospitality. One of our favorite cities.

I'm a business traveler so my taste is very discriminating. My expectations are very high and the LePavillon Hotel in New Orleans met and exceeded all of them. This is service, at it's BEST!

Had a great stay at the Le Pavillon Hotel starting from the drive up service on. The check in went flawless and the hotel was gorgeous. Every staff member greeted you warmly and welcomed us to the hotel and New Orleans. You could feel they were sincere in their attitudes. This is always a major plus for me. Had a welcome drink in the bar that was quiet and classy. The room was beautiful and very clean. The bathroom is very nice with plenty of amenities. We had a concern about our room being across from the elevator but it turned out the noise was minimal. The hotel is located within walking distance of the French Quarter. Probably the same for Harrah's casino but we opted to drive. The concierge was helpful with our needs. We had the Sunday brunch in the hotel and it was excellent. Although this was our first visit to the Le Pavillon we would look to stay here again.

I was booked into this hotel for work. I normally do not stay in the CBD but found it to be conveniently located--just minutes from the Quarter, Uptown and Mid-City. The hotel is lovely and the rooms well appointed. But the staff really sent it over the top for me. They were helpful without hovering. Very polished but never pretentious. Just great service with a fantastic attitude. They really added to the enjoyment of my stay.

For our 15th wedding anniversary, we returned to the Le Pavillon. This was our..what...fourth stay there? We keep coming back. There really is no better a hotel stay than here at the Pav. The service--from parking to room service--is impeccable. Absolutely nothing detracted from our stay. The staff was wonderful, attentive, and polite. As this was our wedding trip, we were subject to a complimentary champagne and cheese gift upon our return from our first night in the Quarter. At night our turn down service was very much appreciated. Especially after returning from the roof top pool overlooking the city. The Pav's pool has to be one of the finest in the city.

Our day ventures into the French Quarter were only a short walk from the Pav. If you are concerned about the location, fear not. In ten minutes you can be on Decatur or Bourbon. Our daily breakfast walk to Cafe Du Monde or Huck Fins was a hop and a skip.

Our barometer by which we measure our content in the French Quarter will always be bench marked by the Le Pavillon. Enjoy!
