“Best hotel of our entire trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2013

After a recent holiday in America the Hyatt was my favourite hotel (we stayed in 7) It's staff were friendly and helpful and the room was absolutely massive. Although close to Bourbon Street and all the action we were never disturbed by noise. It has a small cafe which we ate in twice and I was surprised how good the food was. The lobby and communal areas are all very bright and modern and very cool. If I ever get the opportunity to return to New Orleans there is no doubt I would be happy to stay here again.

Very contemporary hotel and close to all the festivities of the French quarter. We were here on business and wanted the best of both worlds. Staff was very accommodating. Our room was very quiet but did not have a window and dark. Since this was a business trip and my husband had to get up very early, it was perfect. Walked to great restaurants in the quarter and close to the cable car to get around. I would definitely stay here again. Not for the young crazy bourbon street goers but terrific for the mature romantics.

This was my first trip to NOLA, and I could not have asked for a better location. Everything we wanted was walking distance. The WW2 museum was the farthest attraction I visited, and it was still only a 10-15 minute walk. Also, close but also far enough from bourbon street.

We were in a spacious corner room and had plenty of space! This was a clean and sleek hotel, and I would definitely stay again!

Lovely hotel for business or leisure; right in between shopping and the nightlife of Bourbon Street; far enough away to avoid the noise but all within a short walking distance. There is a outdoor pool, size typical of a city hotel and a gym, to shake off any jet lag. Be warned, do not pack high heels, the streets of New Orleans are unforgiving.

This property is very nice. The rooms large and comfortable.....the Decor is beautiful!!! The fitness center was very nice as was the pool courtyard. The location is wonderful and convenient.
The bar was also hip and fun!

Room Tip: We did have to change rooms because of the noise. I would recommend a room that is NOT on Bourbon S...

First visit to New Orleans and we checked into the Hyatt for a 3 night stay. The room was large, clean and the bathroom excellent. We had a room overlooking Iberville Street which was relatively quiet (although not a very exciting view). Location is excellent - close to both Bourbon Street and Canal Street. My only negative is that Wifi in the room had to be paid for but there was complimentary wifi in the public areas downstairs. Fabulous gym with modern equipment. I would definitely return.

We just returned from New Orleans after staying in the Hyatt French Quarter. the hotel was refurbished about one year ago and is well-appointed...rooms are sharp and spacious, nice workout facilityand great pool area. Plus an inviting on-site bar area and restaurant. Shelby, the bellman, is a true gem with suggestions for fun and food as well as a wonderfully warm smile. We were put into a room that was over a noisy street and were immediately moved! The entire staff is knowledgable, warm, and responsive... everything needed to make a very nice stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the courtyard with a balcony...very cool!
