“Awesome Hotel right off of Bourbon Street”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

Awesome hotel that isn't too old. Takes up a HUGE CITY BLOCK. My room was on the 5th floor with a balcony. Awesome for fresh air and views. Not awesome if your trying to sleep at three o'clock in the morning. Night clubs are downstairs... Its New Orleans, what do you expect... I'm not complaining. The Hotel Lobby was extremely BEAUTIFUL and the hotel staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The location of the Burubon Orleans in on the famous Burbon Street and French Quarter plus Street car stop so top marks for location. There were lots of activities available which was an added bonus and the gym was great. The rooms were great, staff were courteous, and beds clean. The down side was very expensive parking but we looked around and found cheaper parking nearby. The internet was also very slow but we were visiting during a busy festival so maybe it was overloaded?

We chose the Bourbon Orleans Hotel based on good trip advisor reviews, location and amenities. We expected it to be nice and comfortable but have found it to be so much more. We have been delighted with everything about it; the location is fantastic, a half block off of Bourbon Street and a half a block from Jackson square Park, and a three minute walk through the park to Cafe DuMond. Although so close to all the action which is New Orleans, it is very quiet and private feeling. The staff are all extremely professional, gracious, friendly and welcoming, and very helpful. The manager, Mark Wilson, is very present, approachable and friendly, and his professionalism shows in the attitudes and behavior of his staff members. The hotel is meticulously maintained and well appointed, and the beds are sooo comfortable. The rooms are lovely and spacious. The cocktail lounge is warm and inviting and features lives music nightly. The concierge, Ron, has been very helpful in making reservations for us for several New Orleans attractions and restaurants prior to and during our stay here. We could not be more pleased with our stay at the Bourbon Orleans...we will return!

This was our second time staying at the hotel. It was wonderful. It is in a great location only 1 mile from the Super dome and right off Bourbon street. We will be coming back! Staff was excellent!!!!

When we checked into the Bourbon Orleans, we were were greeted with a big friendly smile from Keyiana. She was certainly a great first impression at the hotel. The young men in valet were also very pleasant. Our room, number 544,was nice enough with a view of their beautiful courtyard pool. There was only one nightstand next to the bed. The mattress was quite comfortable and the room was clean. I didn't care for the little bitty coffee machine. Shower was great. My sister's room was quite small, in fact, the smallest hotel room I have ever seen...number 553. Check- out was a fun experience with bell captain Caleb, personality plus! Would stay there again and the location was really good.

Room Tip: If you like a quiet room, ask for room away from Bourbon street.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, the staff was incredibly friendly and the building was beautiful! The location was perfect for what we needed! Our server at the bar and the cocktails were perfect. A strong hotel based complimentary wifi would have been wonderful, but that is the only critique! Needless to say, we will be back!

The staff were very helpful. We had a nice visit. We were able to check in later without difficulty. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance of Bourbon St, Cafe Du Monde, the river front, wonderful restaurants, and other attractions.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool side room rather than a room that faces Orleans St as the street is a bit noisy on we...
