We were a party of 6 ladies staying 3 nights at this hotel in March. The location is perfect for walking to most FQ attractions. Our rooms were quiet on the 6th floor overlooking the pool area. The valets, doormen, parking attendants were excellent. Our reservations were for a junior suite with 2 queen beds connecting to a room with 2 double beds because there were no connecting double queen rooms. This reservation was confirmed several times with more than one staff member prior to arrival and by the front desk at check-in. The rooms did not connect and the queens beds were doubles. We were told by the manager that there were no connecting rooms and the double beds were European queens. The fact that our reservation for connecting rooms was not honored was met with indifference - those rooms do not exist. The manager was "in a meeting" and not available but would call, The next afternoon the night manager did call to explain that there were no rooms as reserved and nothing better available, and he pointed out that the rooms were adequate for our needs - and the beds were European queens. This myth persisted until the third day when the Mgr came to the room and agreed the beds were doubles and agreed to adjust the bill to reflect the correct charge, but that was not reflected on the final bill the next morning. So, at check-out with yet another Mgr the bill was finally corrected and we were given breakfast at the cafe and $100 per room compensation. Management did not respond in a timely manner and insisted for 3 days that we had a queen room - totally unprofessional. In addition housekeeping, while very friendly and competent in cleaning, were negligent in resupplying bathroom linens. However, I believe adequate supplies were not available to them. We had to request bathmats every day for the very slick black marble floor. Our room/bed/reservation problems should have been addressed immediately. The housekeeping problems were minor and would not have been mentioned if not for the exasperation of dealing with non-responsive management for 3 days. I agree with other reviewers that the room lighting is very dim and drawer space quite limited. We asked for more luggage racks since we had to dress out of suitcases and were told there were none available. This was a long planned trip with our mother and we really wanted those connecting rooms. The bottom line is: If you care about bed or room configurations, don't stay here.
