My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Maison Perrier for two nights on our trip to New Orleans and we both enjoyed it so much that we are going to make it our place to stay whenever we go back to New Orleans. From the moment we arrived at the Maison and met Tom, who greeted us with a complimentary glass of wine each, until we left we felt like we had a home in New Orleans. And by that I don't mean just a place to relax but also a friendly and comfortable environment. Tom and Patricia made us feel like friends not just guests. After our two nights there we left to visit my family in west Louisiana and when we came back to New Orleans for one more night before we flew back to New England we both felt sad that we were staying at a generic hotel and that the city would feel a little bit less comfortable away from the Maison.

There was absolutly nothing we could complain about, from hospitality to breakfast to even the honor bar stocked with wine and Abita we had a great trip thanks in large part to Tom and Patricia. So go to New Orleans and enjoy yourself and definitly stay at Maison Perrier.

I stayed at Maison Perrier this past week of January 14 on a trip that took me back to the town where I lived for 15 years. It was an exciting and emotional trip down memory lane as well as a voyage back to Katrina as I and my dear old New Orleans friends toured devastated areas and talked with many whose lives are still in turmoil. On such a trip where I was often physically tired from our fun escapades, and emotionally drained from the various experiences and remembrances, Maison Perrier was the absolutely perfect respite place. Owner Tom and his wife were as gracious and warm as the historic house itself. I stayed in the "Dolly" room and it was ultra-comfortable and charming--not to mention high tech (wireless internet!). I enjoyed sitting on the balcony from my room gazing out at the quiet streets below. It's also a treat to sit on the front porch in a rocker with a cup of fresh-brewed coffee and the morning Times Picayune. You'll also appreciate the ladies who keep M. Perrier tidy and neat. They're quick with a smile and greet you with sincerity and charm, and they obviously do their job with a sense of pride. What a breath of fresh air compared to the typical hotel staff. The breakfasts were ample and awesome, and the neighborhood was the ideal location to tour my old Garden District haunts--very safe, easy parking, quick access to the Quarter and beyond. If you're "bach-ing" it like me for pleasure or business, or spending a romantic weekend, or having a special event, I heartily recommend a quick phone call to Tom. And don't forget once you get there to ask about places to go, where to eat, what to see. Your hosts are there to make sure you have not only a great stay in their B&B, but a great visit in their wonderful city. Thanks, Tom and Patricia.

We just came back from another visit to New Orleans and a wonderful stay at Maison Perrier. Tom, Patricia and staff are warm and welcoming; accommodations are lovely and comfortable; breakfast is fabulous; art work and decor in the Inn is a delight. This is just a first rate experience and we can't say enough good about Maison Perrier.
If you are going to New Orleans, this is the place to stay!

I have stayed at Maison Perrier a number of times, with my sisters and most recently with my husband. He had heard many stories about the wonderful breakfasts and warm hospitality of Tom & Patricia from my "girls" weekends with my sisters, but this was his first opportunity to visit New Orleans and Maison Perrier. He/we were not disappointed. The inn is located in a very central area so it's easy to get anywhere you want to go. After long days of sight-seeing and exploring the wonderful city of New Orleans, coming back to Maison Perrier feels like coming home. When you leave to return to your actual home, you will feel like you're leaving family. If you are looking for a bit of true Southern Hospitality, Maison Perrier is the place to stay in New Orleans.

Tom and Patricia of Maison Perrier did a fabulous job of making 9 of us feel at home. Each of the nine rooms was wonderful. Our company group attended a conference at the Convention Center, and we enjoyed walking the 2 blocks to catch the St. Charles Avenue trolley and then returning in the evening to walk to delightful neighborhood restaurants. We enjoyed jogging to Audubon Park before breakfast and seeing the Christmas lights and decorations throughout the Uptown neighborhood in the evening. We heard numerous complaints at the conference about the "smells" and "craziness" of the French Quarter. Everyone was jealous to learn about the wonderful B&B choice we made. Whether for weekday business or anyday getaways, each of our group would strongly recommend Maison Perrier. Our 3 days in NoLa was too short.
