It was with some trepidation that I booked this hotel after reading some very negative comments, and I am so pleased that I did book it.The Staff are helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them,so a big thank you to you all.The location is perfect as Carondelet Street becomes Bourbon Street,so you are a few steps away from the action.I booked 4 nights, Mon 21st -Fri 25th April,2014 and stayed in a corner room on the 5th floor with views over the City, the room was spotless, well equipped, and a very comfortable bed, combine all of this with an excellent breakfast, and you have the perfect place to stay.I would like to say two things to negative people out there, everyone has a off-day so give a smile it works wonders, and I go on holiday as a tourist,NOT a hotel inspector.!!!!
