Unfortunately we picked a weekend for New Orleans when the Saints were playing at home so we had little to choose from. The hotel is in a spectacular location if you want to be near the French Quarter and the river walk; however, the hotel itself is lacking. We paid approximately $200.00 for one night (including taxes and fees) and for that amount I would expect soap in the bathroom, a toilet that worked, HOT water, light bulbs in BOTH of my lamps, and a functioning remote control. The room was beautiful but I would not stay again for this price just because of the little conveniences that were missing. I also called the front desk before we arrived to inquire about parking. The front desk attendant hung up on me twice before I could finish a sentence. She was incredibly rude on the telephone but she was not as bad as I expected when we actually checked in. I chalked it up to being busy but I believe phone etiquette should always be used in a customer service industry.
