These guest cottages turned out to be perfect for my visit to NOLA for French Quarter Fest. The Marigny location one block from Frenchman St., and a short walk to the Quarter couldn't be better. My room facing the side was large, clean and quiet, with a bath, bedroom and small kitchen. It is located in a real neighborhood, with families sitting on their stoops and walking their dogs. There is even a small restaurant across the street. If you want a quiet space near the music scene in a neighborhood setting away from the conventioneers, this is your place. On the other hand if you want daily maid service and a gym you should stay in the large chain hotels in the CBD. The owner Dayna couldn't have been nicer, checking in daily to be certain that I and the other guests were enjoying the accommodations. In sum, it is a perfect spot for the NOLA music scene.
