Description: We invite you to come in to see our beautiful renovation project, and sample favorites from renowned Louisiana Chef, Nathan Richard. Richard has a strong background in the art of charcuterie, and the culinary instinct of a born-and-raised Louisianan. Chef Richard loves to experiment with flavors, and has brought to our quasi-British menu a Cajun twist. Instead of traditional bangers and mash, you'll find bangers and grits with black pudding and onion pan gravy. Scotch Eggs are served with boudin and collard greens. In addition to our dinner menu, we offer a wide selection of cocktails, bar snacks, and desserts. And don't forget-live music nightly! The bar is well known for the best and largest martini selection in town - single malt scotches, ports, reserved bourbons and premium cigars. Live music nightly showcases a changing cadre of small ensembles, jazz and cabaret performers.

“Must go!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2007

My husband and I honeymooned in New Orleans (in January 2005). The Bombay Club (in the French Quarter) was by far my favorite restaurant while we were there. They sat us at a private table looking out at the piano bar. it was very nice and romantic (because of the curtain that could be drawn to separate your table from the rest of the restaurant. The food, extetnsive martini list and service were outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in New Orleans.

“Shaky start, excellent finish”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2006

It's always hard to get consistently good service for a group of 6 or more, no matter where you go. Our problem here was fairly minor, a brand new server demanded a credit card before she would take a drinks order, but it made the evening start a little bumpy. The famous martini menu here is up to snuff, and the food is less celebrated but it is surprisingly excellent. The atmosphere in the faux English club environment makes for a great place to go with friends.

“Loved the Bombay club”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2006

My wife and I went to the Bombay Club on 2/17/06 after reading good things online. We really enjoyed it. The setting is beautiful and in a secluded part of the Quarter. It is also a great place for drinks.

I had the duet of Duck and my wife had the linguine with lamb meatballs. Both were delicious as was the calamari appertizer. There was also an excellent jazz combo at 9pm.

Highly recommend!

“Excellent Food in a nice setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2005

On our third night in New Orleans we chose the Bombay club by browsing through the Where? Magazine in our hotel room.

What a lucky find. After the noise and restaurant wait times of the previous two nights this is a quiet oasis just off of Bourbon Street. The Bar is done up like a London Gentleman’s Club. A good range of drinks and a good choice on the menu.

We had the Filet Mignon with Stilton and Freshwater Salmon in Asian Spices. Both were excellent.

Not the place if you are in a hurry as it is a very leisurely paced service, which is much better than the usual rush-rush of the popular restaurants.

“Outstanding...can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2005

I dined at the Bombay Club on 3/31/05 and had one of the best meals EVER. We have been going to New Orleans for the last 25 years on a regular basis for the fun & food. This rates as one of the BEST meals I have had. Cocktails were excellent with perfect service and dinner could not have been better and the service there matched the meal.
