The boy and I visited Mr. B's on a Monday in September for our first dinner based on a recommendation from a friend who is a frequent visitor to N'Orleans. We arrived and was told 15-20 minute wait so we headed to the bar. Less than 10 minutes later the Hostess came to get us from the bar; awesome! We each had a cocktail and then a glass of wine with dinner. We split the Duck Spring rolls which were so yummy. The server also brought us a fresh warm loaf of bread. We couldn't help ourselves! The boy has the Braised rabbit which he claims was one of the best meals he's had. He ate every bit and loved the mashed potatoes. I had the BBQ shrimp. They have the recipe on their website and I'll try to repeat out of my kitchen. I'm used to smaller shrimp being from the North, and these guys come with everything on them, heads and all. But they were so tender and don't be afraid to get messy. And that loaf of bread that they bring over? Dunk it right in the sauce! The bill could be pricey compared to other restaurants in the area, but worth every bite! Will definitely aim to return!
