“A special hidden place with outstanding food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013 via mobile

The owner knows there is only one good source of frog legs in The Big Easy. So he chases down the pickup that brings those legs to the Quarter. He has to fight with the a few other chefs from other high end places. Frog legs--best I have had. The creole cream cheese ice cream was good, and the signature dirty bird good, but not great.

“Incredible and adventurous anniversary dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

My wife and I had the best experience at Louisiana Bistro for our 10th Anniversary! The place was very comfortable and the service was fantastic. The menu was very diverse and full of contemporary creole cuisine, but we chose to be adventurous that evening and go with the "Feed Me" option.

When you go with the "Feed Me", the Chef prepares different courses for you to experience. We did three course, but wished we would have done four! With a wine paring for every course, this was easily the best meal of our trip!

Highly recommend, even if you just stick to the menu! :)

“Beautiful venue with great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

Went here with my girlfriend the day they re-opened after the chef (I assume) had been on a long fishing trip.

I had the "special" of the week which was their surf n turf. A beautiful well prepared steak with heaps of crawfish tails and mashed potatoes. Easily one of the best meals I have ever eaten.

If you go to NOLA, you have to visit this place. The waiters were outstanding and super attentive. My girlfriend wanted an espresso, but they didnt serve that at their place. The waiter was so kind to recommend another restaurant nearby (JaegerHaus or something) where they, according to him, had some of the best espresso in town. Outstanding service.

“An intimate restaurant with fine food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

We ate here, on spec, on our first night in New Orleans after a day with Delta. It is quite small and laid-back and had the calm ambience we wanted. The service was attentive and the food excellent. We were introduced to fried green tomatoes, which I have never seen in the UK and to drum which we both loved. All in all a very pleasant evening and an enormous contrast with Bourbon Street along which we walked back to our hotel.

“Our Favorite New Orleans Restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

We go back her on every visit, it's an intimate place. The menu is wonderful, with lots of seafood, which I love, but the chef will also do a special tasting menu for you if you give him free reign. We love their gumbo, crawfish, desserts are amazing. We will always look forward to returning.
