Ok so it looks like a hole in the wall, but the locals and tourist all go there for some good spanish food. Our waiter, wish I remembered his name was the highlight. He's Colombian, well mannered and a very good waiter. I'm sure you can spot him if you go. I had the carne guisada with rice and salad, the tortilla chips with salsa was very good too. Prices are reasonable, if your looking for classy then don't come here otherwise its good home cooking.

Considering the food and drink prices, quality of the food, and location in the Quarter, one of the best restaurants I have been to. Definintley a repeater.

Why the city health department hasn't closed this place is beyond me. The food is bad, too. My suggestion is to AVOID this place until they can take everything out and scrub the place with bleach. I'm a New Orleans native and I know the difference between "old and slightly funky" and "dirty."

Ate there last year. Nice diner/cafe - esque atmosphere. Food was very authentic tasting. Prices are very reasonable. Goes well with beer.
