“Good Food, Atmosphere Fun”

Great place, very small. Literally only serves burgers and steak. Very good. No french fries, your burger comes with a potato!

“Great food, great staff, long wait, bad parking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

Do yourself a favor and WALK to this restaurant; it's well worth it. Could not finish my fantastic burger and potato as they were HUGE. They tasted great however and after waiting for 45 mins for a table (we, of course, enjoyed some libations while waiting) it was well worth it. This place is in demand so be prepared to wait for a table. It's a dark, dimly lit place "Friends" kind of atmosphere. I even met the owner and he was just a joy!

“Best Hamburger & Baked Potato Ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

Kind of a hole in the wall type of place with lots of local atmosphere. The hamburgers tasted awesome and they were huge. The accompanying baked potato was baked to perfection. Wish I lived close enough to eat here regularly. Also, price was right. Come early or wait for a table.

“Great burgers-with baked potato!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

Quaint burger/bar joint in a nautical theme!! Our party of 3 sat at a table. All of the parties of 2 seemed to prefer to eat at the bar. Our burger was delicious. We ordered it medium well & it came out well done but there was no mistaking that the quality was excellent! Our cheese could have been a bit more melted too. I don't know how they make a baked potato taste so incredible! I'm not usually a fan of thick burgers, but this place was definitely an awesome exception!!

“Love the monsoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

Went there for lunch with a friend on my last NOLA trip. Pretty limited food menu of food and baked potatoes but very good. LOVED the monsoon, very strong drink but you can't taste the alcohol but was feeling just one. Food was reasonably priced and good. Only complaint is no parking lot and street parking can be a pain to find.
