It had been a few years since we had been in New Orleans and eaten at the Bon Ton Cafe. YOu never know how things may change over the years but this restaurant was as good as we remembered. My wife having grown up on the MS coast has high expectations for seafood and Creole cooking. We both had shrimp etouffee which was superb. Too many restaurants believe creole and cajun cooking is about spice. This was just perfectly seasoned, allowing you to savor the taste. Topped off with bread pudding with whiskey sauce, it was a perfect meal.
WE WILL BE BACK!
