What more can you ask for. The place is a decent size, has attentive bar staff, some class music acts- basically all the goodness of Frenchmen Street. What sets it apart from other places is the food, i tried a bite of my friends taco, So good i ended up getting 3 of my own. And no it wasnt drunken munchies, it was genuine good food.

Walking down Frenchman Street at 8:00 pm and poked our heads in...Revival! Great music, good venue in terms of size and acoustic system. Also, bonus that there is a grill although I didn't have any of the food so I cannot speak to the quality of the food.

We spent the evening on Frenchman Street last night and had a blast. Every place was great except here! We walked in and waited for a good 5-7 minutes for beer. All while others walked up after us and were served. The bartender saw us, have us snarly looks but wouldn't acknowledge us. Finally he came over and I said 3 Abitas. I think purple haze. But he didn't hear that part. As he reached into the cooler I stopped him and said the other one. He yelled at me that he has 4 different kinds of Abita's in here and proceeded to take out the initial ones he grabbed. He had grabbed our money already so we had no choice as he knowingly handed us the wrong beers and walked away. Normally I wouldn't judge an entire establishment on one sucky employee who obviously hates his life but there were other bartenders there who ignored us as well. We didn't have this problem at any other place. Just Rude. Go to the other places. Much better!

We ate here while out drinking and seeing music. A great band was playing and in the back a small cafe where you can get some very good tacos.

The food is terrible. The bands are even worse. Walk down the street. Maison is a good choice. Café Negril has nothing going for it - not food, or music.
