Neither my wife nor I was particularly thrilled with our food. I had the fried catfish (which was AWFUL!) and she had the red beans and rice with chicken which was just okay-nothing special.
The catfish is beer battered and comes with a heavy coating of breading, which appeared to be corn bread. The problem was that it was so much breading that there was very little catfish. After the first piece,I literally cut the remaining pieces open and just picked out the fish. In addition, the fries were super greasy and soggy, not crisp as you would expect. Also wasn't thrilled with the wait staff. Not once did the waiter come back to check on us to see if everything was OK. He brought the meal and didn't return to the table until he noticed we were done. He looked at my plate and asked if I wanted a to go carton and when I said that I didn't, he even remarked that I didn't eat very much. All I can say is that there are much better restaurants in New Orleans ad i don't recommend this one.

Thank you for your feedback on your recent visit, I am so sorry you had such a bad experience with both your meal and service. Our goal is always 100% guest satisfaction and it disappoints me that we so missed the mark. I have discussed your comments with both our Executive Chef and service managers and the issues are being addressed. We hope that if you return to New Orleans you will give us another try, I promise you will not leave unhappy again!
