“Get in there”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

OPM was a late find during our NOLA visit & it was such a good discovery that we reserved a table for a second visit.

Seated next to the window on both occasions; wonderful for French Quarter people watching! The restaurant was small - a large mirror made it seem larger - and crowded.

Service was really fine, the wine list quite extensive, atmosphere on the loud side of buzzing and the food very flavoursome - portions were "I'll never eat all of that"!

Highly recommended was the french onion soup, exactly as it should have been, the pasta and any salad dish.

A very good dining experience, not expensive and we strongly advise a visit - or even two.

“Friendly staff, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

We had a waiter and a waitress for lunch - maybe training? We loved the extra attention, though!

Had crab cakes, bbq shrimp, breaded oysters. Fries tasty too. Hush puppies a bit cold.

Can't beat the atmosphere and historical location. Recommend!

“Great deal in the French Quarter”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

Crowded so don't be in a hurry. The food is very good. We had the gumbo and muffuletta sandwich. The gumbo was good. The muffuletta was excellent, large enough for 2-3 people, depending on how hungry you are. The atmosphere is very nice traditional French Quarter.

“Average Experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

The atmosphere is historic. The food was hot and we did not have to wait long at all. The three of us ate for $65.00 with a tip. Muffuletta, blackened shrimp with jambalaya and chicken Caesar salad with two $3 soft drinks and one water. Waitress was helpful and attentive - average service. I would return to try their breakfast someday.

“Wow.... enough said”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

Wow, wow. What a fabulous find! We used urban spoon and found this little place. It was a wonderful atmosphere. It's like dining in a old wine cellar, but above ground and with all the window open to the sidewalk and people. It is dimly light, but I absolutely love that feeling. It is quite romantic. Our waiter was great; very friendly and had a great sense of humor. The food...o the food. I can't say enough great things. My husband and I love Cajun & New Oreans cuisine. This really hit the spot. If you have a chance, please please visit this restaurant. I can PROMISE you that you will love it.
