Okay, I LOVE Indian food and try to eat it every chance I get and in every new location I visit. Discovered Nirvana about a year ago. Wow! What a find! It is on famous Magazine Street in the Garden District. The atmosphere is very cool with hand painted chairs, hand carved wooden statues of Ganesh and other Hindu deities....pretty but comfortable at the same time. The food is DELICIOUS!!!! Some of the best butter chicken curry I have ever tasted (and I've eaten Indian food all over the world). The food is a little on the hot and spicy side on the buffet, which is fine by me. Go for the lunch buffet...you won't be disappointed!
