A block down from Bourbon street, but a far cry from the noise and chaos. Bayona is a quiet gem of restaurant with a great atmosphere, service and food. It was a birthday dinner and they were wonderful at making it a special table for the occasion. The goat cheese croutons with mushrooms appetizer was delicious. We enjoyed the shrimp and black bean cake, but didn't think it was a standout. The duck confit was delicious and the table also enjoyed the pork chop and the lamb. Worth a visit if you are in the French Quarter.
