You come to New Orleans for the food and NOLA gives you what you want. All our dishes were enjoyed! Service is excellent. One of the best meals we had in New Orleans!

“Can't think of anything that could have made this evening better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Excellent food -how do they make bar-b-que sauce so good!? Great service. Shrimp and grits - fab and the triple cream brûlée is the epitome of delicious decadence. I would return to New Orleans just for another evening of this food!

“New Orleans dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2012

Quite modern for New Orleans. A trendy atmosphere. Not full while there so the noise level was not a problem considering the hard surfaces.
Very interesting menu. No problem finding something for anyone.

“A little boisterous”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

Yes, a little noisy in our area, but that was due to the large group clearly enjoying themselves. We did also, as the food and service is top notch. After all these years, Emeril's establishments are still benchmarks.

“Wow!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

This was a great experience!! We went at the end of a trip to New Orleans for a conference. We wanted to give ourselves a treat, and boy, did we! We all loved this restaurant! We were seated on the second floor, so had to take an elevator up to our table. Right away we were given menus and water. The service throughout our meal was awesome. We never had to ask for anything, instead the staff seemed to anticipate what we would need and be there before we could ask. It was really impressive. We shared two appetizers between the three of us; the crab cake and the veggie pizza. I am not a seafood eater, but I liked the crab cake (just FYI, it is ONE cake, we shared) and the veggie pizza was also good. I had the buttermilk fried chicken. They basically gave me 3 chicken breasts, more than I could ever eat....but it was SO GOOD. It was served with a white gravy, bourbon mashed sweet potatoes, and sugar snap peas. My friends had filet mignon and fish, and both of their dishes were great also. For dessert I had their banana layer cake and it was really, really good. My friends had bread pudding and also enjoyed it. We also each had an alcoholic drink from the bar. We had asked the waiter to give us seperate tickets, and he did, even down to splitting the cost of the appetizers! In total, with the app, main course, dessert, and drink my part of the bill was about $65 and that included the tip. Well worth it, it was a great dinner and great dining experience. Also, this is pretty casual. I wouldnt wear a t-shirt or shorts, but jeans with a nice shirt are okay. I would also recommend reservations. And be aware that the acoustics of this old building can make for a loud atmosphere.
