“Fab Food and Charming Atmosphere in New Orleans”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014 NEW

We spotted Murial's Jackson Square. It looked nice so we stopped in for lunch. As soon as we went inside, we saw the eclectic, very interesting decor. There's even a table reserved for the resident ghost.

We started by sharing the Pomegranate Vinaigrette & Munchego Cheese salad - very tasty. Our server, Deaver, was very helpful in making our choices for lunch. Excellent service.

I got the Crawfish & Goat Cheese Crepes, with chardonnay, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers - truly DELICIOUS! My fiancé got Louisiana Crawfish Hash with potatoes, onions, bell peppers, charice sausage and, of course, crawfish. He loved it.

We were entertained by a live band all through lunch. After we ate, we toured the upstairs and looked down over the balcony. What a charming place! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a special meal in a fascinating place.

“Get a drink and walk upstairs”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014 NEW

I didn't eat here but I was told to get a drink and walk upstairs to view the city and plaza. Possibly the best thing I did in the city. I sat looking at all the action and loved the sun setting on the square--- must do this even if its to drink coffee.

“Very Nice Dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2014 NEW

Muriel's is a typical New Orleans restaurant. There were ghosts in the building as well as all the historical stories that we heard . The food was even pretty good. I would certainly go back. It was also right in the middle of everything.

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014 NEW

While flying to NOLA, we sat next to a woman who has lived in New Orleans for 25 years, and she told us to go to Muriel's and have the goat cheese crepes, and was she ever right! Besides the delicious food, the decor definitely had that New Orleans feel to it. The wait staff was super friendly. It was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it!
