“Old World Dining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Need to reserve weeks in advance, especially for brunch. Great atmosphere, outstanding service. The brunch menu is limited but everything listed seem like a culinary delight. We special ordered a dessert from the past, Queen Sheba cake. Although, not the original, it was an excellent version of the classic. Pricey but memorable.

“Fabulous food, def worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Probably the best restaurant in Nola. Make sure you get a reservation and head over for a reasonably priced yet excellent meal. A little stuffy with the jacket requirement but worth putting up with to try a New Orleans institution. They do 25c martinis M-F for lunch which would be fun but alas I was there on a Sunday night and made do with the excellent pre-fixe dinner before 6.30pm for just $25. Well worth it!!

“We were disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

Considering the large amount of hype we heard about this restaurant, we were extremely disappointed. It's not that the food or service were bad, but we considered them to be basically the same as at as many other restaurants in New Orleans. The sauces were a bit rich as well. This is an extremely expensive restaurant and tougher to get to than most restaurants in the area.

“Incredible service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

You need to eat here, just for the service.

They treat you like royalty.
Anything you ask for, they bring it.

Food was very good, I would give it a 9.5.
To get a 10 it has to be too hot to eat, for me.

This is a special occasion place for most people, andthey do each occasion up personally.
We will continue to eat ere each trip.

“Classic Night Out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

I was in a get-a-way for the NO jazz festival, and the night before we had a reservation for that restaurant. Everything about it is classy, the atmosphere is inviting, good service, and the menu.. hard to chose between so many good options. And what about the beautiful internal garden they have? Not to say that staff, specially the chef and his staff are very pleasant... a walk through the kitchen is a must. There is the chef's table, that can be reserved if ahead of time. One of our choices was the 1-1-1 soup, and it was delicious. The only but, was maybe the turlle soup which was a bit too acidic, but, everything else outstanding. Great place to be with friends, and for a romantic dinner. I sure recommend it.
