“Wonderful homemade food--a must in uptown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

I loved this place. You won't find many tourists here, only friendly locals. This is a breakfast/lunch place serving organic artisan baked goods with a full menu of soups, and sandwiches. They have seating outside in the front and back as well as inside seating. The owners were so friendly and helpful. I would go back in a heartbeat and will on my next return to NOLA.

“Absolutely wonderful bread and delicious lunch & desserts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

We stopped by for lunch and discovered all of the amazing breads, lunch selections and delicious desserts. We eat a vegan diet and this place has many wonderful options. The owner was very nice and even gave us several different samples of various breads and desserts. We had a cashew quiche that was outstanding. Everything we sampled was very good - we highly recommend trying this place. You won't be sorry.

“Best cookies ever!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

I stopped by this restaurant last week during New Orleans Po Boy festival on Oak street. I got one of the Chocolate chip and walnut cookies and it was by far one of the best cookies ever! I will definitely be frequenting this place often every time I am in up town and can't wait to taste the other confections they have at this place.

“Great Organic Bakery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Usually when a business is organic there are compromises. Not so at Breads on Oak. These guys are true artisan bakers in the style of France. The baguette could have been baked in Paris!! Every loaf bread I have tried has the irregular interior texture of a great baker. Taste is king here, and they do everything well.
