“Good location”

This hotel is within walking distance of the French Quarter. The sign in staff was ok. Not overly friendly, but ok. The room is clean and tidy; however the bed is hard so that impacted our rest and the satifaction of our stay.

Thanks for your honest comments about the mattress comfort. I wanted to make sure that you were aware that our Garden Sleep System can be regulated for individual comfort. Every bed is equipped with a dial on each side of the bed that allows you to personalize the setting for firmness.

We know how important a good night's sleep is and I apologize that we did not accomplish that for you. I do hope that you will give us another opportunity and I look forward to serving you again soon.

Doors on rooms would not lock properly. Room service delivered cold red beans, burnt gumbo and a club sandwich so dry and bacon so burnt the birds would not eat it. Staff was friendly but did not make up for the poor quality of our stay. Pool is for kids only 3-4 feet. Cannot swim without feet scrapping bottom. Just not a place to stay a second time. Killed the romantic weekend.

We enjoyed our stay here very much and would stay here again. The room over looked the river and pool. It was family friendly and the restaurant down stairs was great. The location is very accessible to the interstate which makes it easy to get to and from the hotel from I10. There is a Trolly car right out side that can take you towards the French market to reduce the amount of walking. Also, if you have small children its an easy walking distance to river walk mall along with the IMAX and Aquarium.

Situated in a convenient location; easy access to the French Quarter and streetcars to the Garden District and riverside. Staff was very helpful; consierge staff recommendations were AMAZING. Currently being remodeled. Pool is small if you have kids; was amazing relaxing to sit by in the evening.

Our rooftop pool has a great view of the city from the Superdome to the French Quarter and can be very tranquil after a busy day. Top that off with some great dining suggestions from our guest service team and it makes for a great day.

The location was central to all we wanted to see and do, access by cable cars allowed us to go outside where we expected to go. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. The Consierge service is THE BEST. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough meal times in the days of our stay (7/22-25) to try all their recommendations.

My wife and I have stayed at this particular property on two or three previous occasions. Each time, the stay has been above average. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable but I found the bed to be too "soft" for my back. The AC unit was noisy and the room never got as cool as we would've like but overall, the room was worth the price we paid.

Didn't ask for much while there, they fell short on what I asked for. I asked for a cab for the following morning, only to wait 6 minutes because there was no reservation. After the initial set up the night before, I went downstairs to confirm the set up and was greeted with attitude. I get outside the next morning and there's no cab. Checkout was at 11 AM and I had someone at my door at 9 AM trying to get in repeatedly, even after the Do Not Disturb sign was up. Not a bad hotel in terms of quality, but in the city of New Orleans..near Bourbon Street, I could go anywhere else and have the same, if not better quality from a competitor. I had a bell man from the Royal Sonesta offer me a cab, carry my bags, and be just genuinely nice to me and I wasn't even a guest there. I'd recommend that hotel instead. It's beautiful.
