We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful B&B. We've stayed in New Orleans many times but usually stay in the quarter. However this visit we tried something different and were very happy with the choice. There are only two guest rooms and we used both. The queen bed room has a separate outside entrance and was nicely decorated and very comfortable. The sheets on the bed were high quality and the furniture and decor was simply perfect. The king bed room had a covered porch entrance and overlooked the bayou. We LOVED having the covered porch and the view. This room was also beautifully decorated and we loved the little finishing touches that gave it more of a "homey" feel than any hotel could ever achieve. The proprietors were very sweet and sociable. We got there on a Friday evening and they'd actually used cones to save us a parking place in front of the house. Two weddings were going on nearby and without those cones, we probably would have had to park blocks away. There were also snacks of fresh apples and oranges as well as prepackaged snack bars and bottled water - all at no extra charge. Antiques and small modern touches made this one of top choices for return trips - we WILL be back.
