We spent the weekend here. Rooms were bright and clean with nice view of the Mississippi River. Just two blocks away from Canal Street, and another two to the infamous Bourbon Street. Close enough but not too close to the action if you ask me. I was content at the hotel bar with the live piano music at night. Front desk recommended some nice restaurants to try. Conveniently located across the street from Harrah's where you can find gambling and a nice nightclub.
