Checked in here at shot notice, exceptional hotel for New Orleans. Completely different to the standard french quarter hotel with its fake furniture/screaming (ex) frat boys/lifeless Jazz photographs/insert New Orleans cliche here....

Efficient yet discreet service, well designed rooms and a great location. A genuinely relaxing weekend. As you learn about a city, it feels nice to develop 'go to' places and and Loft 523 is my go to hotel from now on.

This is not only my favorite hotel in NOLA, but anywhere. I had a one week work trip stay during Tales of the Cocktail (which meant lots of deliveries, odd requests, etc.) and the staff was always incredibly helpful and accommodating. The rooms are a world apart from the bustle of the French Quarter and just close enough.

Good story: for a morning flight, I overslept and when I woke up, called the lobby in a panic. Jeremy, who was working the desk, called the airport to check the status of my flight (which turned out to be delayed) and called me a taxi. As I dashed out of my room still full of work boxes, he promised to take care of everything and send everything back to me at home. He even had my flight information printed out and a taxi waiting outside when I made it downstairs. My flight ended up being delayed and I actually made it. But the important part of the story is that none of that would have happened with out Jeremy! Thanks again!

Stayed at the Lofts for a birthday retreat. From check in to check out, the service was unbelievable. Concierge helped was with every request, last minute tickets to the House of Blues to multiple orders of room service. We stayed in the penthouse and it was absolutely amazing, huge balcony over the city, top of the line entertainment system, and the bathroom itself was to die for. Will definitely be staying here for my future trips, although probably not in comfort of the PH. All and all wonderful location, staff, and plenty to do and see.

It is very unfortunate that such a great hotel is so hard to find; the name on the building would have helped tremendously. Parking near the hotel was painless and cost efficient. Check in was quick and easy; I was even upgraded without having to ask!! My immediate reaction of the room was... Beautiful & Spacious. The bathroom was also pretty spacious. The tub was a little dirty, but with a quick wip off it was ready to use. The shower could have benefited from a door and lower shower heads (whoever installed the shower heads must have set them for seven foot tall people). But, overall the room was amazing! The windows and the iPhone were also a great touch!!
