“Affordable with amazing service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

This affordable hotel is located in walking distance of the French Quarter. The service is absolutely fantastic and the personnel is both friendly and always willing to help you. It was also clean. The continental breakfast is more like a full buffet breakfast and the staff will bend over backwards to meet your diet needs.
Each room has a microwave and refrigerator; and for all of us computer geeks, it has wi fi internet.

If you want exceptional service and friendly people to work with this is your hotel to stay at in New Orleans. Marie Strevey and guest.

Room Tip: I had a room next to the street on the fifth floor. I found this room to be quiet enough to sleep...

My friend and I stayed at the Quality Inn for St. Patrick's Day weekend festivities. The hotel is within very easy walking distance to Canal Street and the French Quarter. We felt very safe walking around the area. The rooms were clean, and even though our room faced the street, we were still able to sleep undisturbed. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Would consider staying here again.

We recently visited New Orleans at the first of April and stayed at this hotel for two nights. Great place. Very clean and even though the place was full, it was very quiet. I even asked how full the hotel was because i never saw very many people in it, except at breakfast. Close to the French Quarters and easy to get around. We walked to Canal Street and caught the trolley, once we got the hang of it. I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay and explore New Orleans. The public bus from the airport drops you off about two blocks away and only costs $2 one way. We rode it both ways and it worked out great. The staff is very helpful with any questions, we had. They always greeted us with a hello and were extremely approachable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel but everything worked, the rooms are a bit small but clean and nice. Microwave, fridge... The bed seemed small for a queen but other than that a good experience. Wonderful location a quiet street and an easy walk to Canal Street and access to the trolley. Buy an all day pass!

This is not a top hotel, but it is within easy walking distance to the French Quarter, and was satisfactory for our five-day stay in NOLA. Could use some paint and updating, but our room was clean and the cost was reasonable considering that the NCAA Women's Championship was on. The breakfast serving area is small and we had to sit in the lobby to eat our breakfast a couple of mornings. However, its shortcomings are made up for with the great front desk staff. They were extremely helpful and courteous at all times. When I left a bag on the city tour bus they went to a lot of trouble to track it down, and when it was found had it sent to the hotel for me. Even the cleaning staff greeted us in the morning and assured us that our room would be made up when we returned and asked if there was anything that we needed in our room. That's service!

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the street.

The hotel was lovely. Whilst you get what you pay for, what you get is great value for money. The free breakfast was appreciated and as we were in NOLA for a conference the hotel was around a mile away, so well situated. The hotel is also close to all the sights of the French quarter. So mainly great value and great service. Finally a special mention to Glenn our concierge was fantastic and lovely and recommended the Oceana restaurant near Bourbon street and that was spectacular.

Stayed here for the NCAA Women's Championship Basketball games. I had read it was rated very highly. Perfect location to the Arena. Could walk there. The wonderful staff assured me that I would be safe walking home afterwards. I was! Also so close to the French Quarter and the Riverfront. I ran every morning down to the River. Again the staff said I would be safe and gave me a map to make sure I knew where I was going. Wonderful experience. I would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: My room was off the street and very quiet. I was amazed how quiet the hotel was even though it was f...
