We ate here for breakfast on Sunday. I was excited, especially when I saw that Chef Matt had been on, and won, an episode of Chopped on the Food Network. I know breakfast isn't the best representation of a restaurant typically but it is also hard to screw it up. We sat outside because it was a nice day and not too hot yet. Our waitress was ok but didn't pay too much attention to us. Drink refills were few and far between. I ordered the Orange Cinnamon Jaffa Pancakes, which sounded amazing with Nutella, oranges, and chocolate! When the waitress brought them out, the whip cream on top was mostly melted into a mess along the sides of the plate, there was no butter or maple syrup, and the pancakes were kind of dry like they had been under a heat lamp or previously made/heated up. Like I said, underwhelmed. I bet the diner across the street would have been better :(
