“Enjoyable Stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Enjoyed our stay here during the French Quarter Festival. Very clean, quiet and comfortable corner room on the tenth floor for our two night stay. We booked a superior king and called in advance to verify it was a room with a window. Felt there was plenty of room, had a great night's sleep and cleaning service did an excellent job. Front desk was very accommodating and aimed to please. Lobby was small but okay for our needs with more a fun versus tranquil ambiance. The coffee shop was nice to have in the morning before setting out to enjoy our day. Location was great for walking to all areas in the French Quarter. Definitely would consider this boutique hotel as an option when re booking in the future.

Room Tip: Book a superior and corner room. There's more room. Upper floor is quieter as well.

I stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved the view I had. It's decently priced and modern...the room was plenty big for no longer than I was at my room. Also has a great location.

Only real downside is there was no bar or restaurant at the hotel, with only a little coffee place downstairs.

Rm 506 had mouse droppings in bathroom. Room small, curtain in tub too short water got on floor often, tub did not really look clean, water would go out of sink slowly. Overrall employees were friendly, courteous, and helpful

My wife and I came down here for French Quarter Festival. We were greeted by the nice valet who helped us with the car. The first issue is that the Self-Park is around the corner and not easy to get to. I will give them a plus in the small fact that if the weather is decent, which can get dicey fast though, you can actually save a lot of money, 16 dollars for your whole stay vs. 32 dollars a day. The hotel was very trendy and clean, and the check-in process was very smooth.

The room, when we got there, was tastefully decorated. The carpet was appropriately dark for a hotel room, because let's face it, nobody wants to see other peoples' stains. Its enough to know that they are there. :) The décor was funky and cool and coordinated throughout. The bed was very comfortable, and the shampoo, etc. in the bathroom was made in the USA and eco-friendly.

Here is where they lose a HUGE amount in the review: the door in the bathroom swings inward. Essentially, you lose ALL the room in the bathroom because the door nearly reaches the toilet. I would have expected either it to swing outward or be a pocket door, but they didn't want the door to intrude into the bed. Don't know why it wasn't a pocket door instead, but they didn't want to do that.

The location was very convenient to the French Quarter and everything else we wanted to get to. The hotel staff were very quiet in the morning, and we barely heard any commotion when they were cleaning.

Unfortunately, that bathroom thing was too huge of annoyance to get over. Tripping over the door was one thing for one night, but if you stayed here for any more than one day, it would get downright aggravating. It restricts you any time you go in there, from going to the bathroom to taking a shower.

Room Tip: If you can possibly get one near the service closet, then it will be quieter.

I chose the RSC because it was a block up from Bourbon and they had a "half off" deal during the week. The location did not disappoint. CVS, VooDoo Mart and Bourbon St are all within a five minute walk and the St Charles green line trolly picks up right in front of the hotel. Rooms and decorations are quite trendy and appealing (none of that ugly floral stuff from the 80s), the only disappointment was the lack of fridge and/or microwave in the room. NOLA portions are so big that I couldn't finish even one of my meals, but I had nowhere to store or take care of my leftovers. I hate wasting food and money. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Maid service was prompt and efficient, everyone from the bellboy to the front desk clerk were very helpful and they remembered my name, which always stands out. Only reason for the 4/5 stars is the lack of fridge and microwave.

Location may not technically be in the french quarter, but it is about 1/2 block from Canal Street and a 5 minute walk to Bourbon St! Staff was very helpful and we felt very comfortable staying there with our kids. Quiet rooms, rather large for being in the middle of the city, modern bathrooms. No complaints about this hotel. Parking is offsite at a garage, so you don't have direct access to your car, but you can drive in/out without extra charge. Bell staff was so nice and really helped us with our million bags and packages. I would definitely recommend staying here - you can walk to all french quarter destinations. The St. Charles streetcar stops right out front, if the garden district is in your plans.

This is an older hotel in the business district, but very updated and extremely clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great if you are not looking to stay in the heart of Bourbon Street. I would stay there again.
