“Boutique Blessing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

This boutique hotel is wonderful!
What makes the stay extremely special is the professional, courteous and friendly service of all the staff. Who were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Especially Chelsea at Front Desk and Frederico the Concierge, who was extremely knowledgeable about all the best local places to visit and amazing food to eat.
It is in an extremely convenient location, just moments away from the French Quarter.
Furthermore, it is situated on a great corner to watch the Mardi Gras parades where the crowds are not as big as those on Canal street - yet you still get a great viewing spot and an opportunity catch plenty of beads!
The rooms are very comfortable and clean, with a very modern and jazzy lobby, the colours immediately lifts your spirits up.
Highly recommended for a welcoming and fun stay.

Very nice renovated hotel. 10 Stories, attractive lobby, very clean comfortable room, poor views of the city from rooms but very well situated! Close to attractions, just mins walking to Bourbon and Canal Streets yet very very quiet. Great for couples. Was upgraded to a Jr. Suite which was greatly appreciated (suites have a sitting area with a wall mounted flat panel TV, sofa and chair) Bathroom was clean and an avg size but was placed dead center of the room, took up tons of space. Common areas were clean, front desk & valet staff weren't top notch, however they were polite and attentive (could use a little polish). Best is LOCATION! LOCATION! Great rate also. Will stay again. Pass on the coffee shop in the lobby (blah!) Oh yeah, housekeeping was dead on!

Room Tip: Ask for a room number ending in "12" these are larger rooms with plenty of windows panoram...

We stayed on January 26-28! It was nice! The ladies at the front desk were nice and helpful! The valet guys were nice! The room was small but nice! The bed and pillows were comfortable! The parade ran right in front of the hotel so we didn't have to walk far! Canal St. was on the next block! The only thing that bother me was the 6th hallway was so cold! Other than that My husband and I enjoyed our stay and the next time we come back... We will book here again! Thanks!!

So i had a reservation for this hotel through Orbitz, which had a month in advance cancellation policy. Something had come up and could no longer keep my reservation so i needed to cancel and get my full refund. I called orbitz and they would not give me the refund so i called Royal St.. Charles reservations directly and sure enough i got a very friendly guy who helped me out tremendously! He didn't give me any trouble and he refunded all of my money! I haven't stayed at this hotel yet but i will give it 5 stars any day just for the customer service alone!

The front desk staff was more than exceptional. They were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. The room was very small but just enough for me and my husband. Decor was beautiful and the bed comfortable. The location was great!!! In walking distance to everything except the Garden District but it is right along the trolly route. Bourbon street, aquarium, casino, Imax museum just a few steps away. I was very pleased with my decision to stay here especially since it is a guessing game of what the hotel will be like and the location if you are not familiar with the area.

Room Tip: I think you would be pleasantly pleased if you stayed at this hotel.

This hotel is in a great location and walking distance to everything. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were not great. Smallest room ever. We had to use the irioning board for counter area. It was very noisy and not worth the price. I paid the same for an ocean view in Hawaii.
